Soyuz microphones 1973-B Deluxe
The Soyuz 1973-B Deluxe is a large-diaphragm FET condenser microphone designed as a true studio all-rounder. Inspired by the golden age of FET microphones, it combines modern design with a capsule derived from the renowned Soyuz 023 Bomblet.
Its capsule features dual 33mm diaphragms—including one gold-sputtered—delivering a balanced sound with full lows, precise mids, and a natural high-end. The 1973 is engineered to provide rich detail without sounding cold or clinical, allowing it to pair easily with various preamps and signal chains.
Its transformerless FET circuitry ensures fast, transparent audio reproduction while retaining a musical character. An integrated acoustic resonator controls unwanted resonances and contributes to the microphone's overall balanced response.
With built-in -10 dB and -20 dB pads and the ability to handle up to 140 dB SPL, the 1973-B Deluxe is equally capable of capturing delicate vocals and high-SPL sources like kick drums, snare drums, or guitar amplifiers.
Its cardioid polar pattern and compact form factor make positioning easy, whether in a home studio or a professional environment.
This Deluxe version comes with a handcrafted oak case, a custom-designed shock mount, and a hard mount, offering a complete, premium solution for transporting and mounting the microphone. Key Features
