Zoom LiveTrak L-20R

The Zoom LiveTrak L-20R is a digital rack console designed for those who need to manage a complete mix, quickly and without compromise, in concert as well as in the studio. Its 19" form factor makes it ideal for fixed installations, flight cases, or compact control rooms, while still offering significant processing and recording power. With its 20 mixing channels and all-in-one design, it allows you to amplify a full band, create multiple custom monitor mixes, and record multitrack audio—all with a single unit.

In terms of connectivity, the L-20R offers 16 XLR/6.35 mm combo inputs for connecting microphones, instruments, or line-level sources, as well as two additional stereo channels. Channels 1 and 2 feature a Hi-Z input for direct connection to guitars and basses, while channels 3 through 16 have a -26 dB pad to handle louder signals. +48V phantom power is available on inputs 1 through 16, switchable in groups of four, making it easy to use condenser microphones while maintaining precise control over the setup.

The monitoring section is clearly One of its key features is the L-20R's ability to manage up to six independent mixes, perfect for stage monitors or studio sessions. Each musician can receive their own mix, tailored to their needs, whether through headphones or a standard line output. In addition to its role as a mixing console, the LiveTrak L-20R can also serve as a USB audio interface with 22 inputs and 4 outputs, allowing for easy integration into any DAW on Mac or PC. You can record up to 22 tracks simultaneously to an SD card (up to 512GB), then play back up to 20 tracks, making it a very practical tool for live recordings, rehearsals, or studio sessions without a computer.

Remote control Control is provided via the Remote Mixer app on iPad, offering complete parameter control: levels, EQ, compression, effects sends, mute/solo, and advanced settings such as a variable low-cut filter and phase inversion. You can also save up to 9 mix scenes to instantly recall a complete setup, which is very useful in live performances or when multiple bands are performing back-to-back.

Finally, the L-20R comes ready to use with its AD-19 power supply, the BTA-1 Bluetooth adapter for wireless control, rack brackets, and a quick start guide.
