Warm audio WA76-A
The WA76-A is an analog FET compressor from Warm Audio.
The WA76-A faithfully reproduces one of the fastest and most powerful studio compressors, renowned for its striking attack response, precise dynamics control and distinctive grain.
Using premium components such as CineMag O-12 (input) and 5002 (output) transformers, the WA76-A captures the essence of the “blue stripe” compression, renowned for its unmistakable analog grain of its preamp. Modern features have been added, including parallel compression, bypass, selectable input impedance and flexible side-chain options.
Ideal for adding a vintage touch to contemporary recordings, the WA76-A recreates the iconic sound of the studios frequented by Jack White, The Beatles, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin and many others.

Selectable input impedance: 600 Ω or 10 kΩ to optimize compatibility with modern audio interfaces.
Dry and processed signal mixing function.
Variable side-chain high-pass filter: 30 to 300 Hz, 12 dB/octave slope.
Stereo link and insert inputs on 6.35 mm jack.
Active bypass for use as a line amplifier and True Bypass option for A/B comparison.
Attack settings from 20 microseconde to 800 microseconde; release from 50 ms to 1.1 s.
Available compression ratios: 4:1, 8:1, 12:1, 20:1 and "All-Buttons-In" mode for a limiting function.
Frequency response: ± 1 dB from 20 Hz to 20 kHz.
Balanced XLR and TRS jack connections.
Total amplifier gain: 58 dB.
Signal-to-noise ratio (SNR): 84 dB.
Total harmonic distortion (THD): -58 dB (at -18 dBu).
