Thorpyfx The J Lazy J20 Amp Simulator
THORPYFX The J Lazy J20 Amp Simulator pedal faithfully emulates the tones and response of a the Lazy J20 amplifier in compact pedal format (itself derived from the traditional Fender 5E3 Tweed Deluxe amp).
Built from premium components, high-grade audiophile capacitors, with military-grade specs, The J includes a built-in transformer that can mimic the real amp feel.
The J offers two channels (Normal, Bright) for flexible sound design. It includes a toggle switch to select X or Y mode – the circuit’s impression of either 12AX7 or 12AY7 valves – as well as a ‘supply’ switch, which is designed to emulate the J 20’s impressive attenuator.
As a tweed amp emulator, The J responds perfectly to a lighter touch or guitar volume modulation, and captures both the playing feel and tone of a cranked amp. In its own right, The J is an amazing tactile and responsive overdrive pedal .
