Soyuz microphones 013 FET-MAC

The Soyuz 013 FET-MAC is a matched stereo pair of small-diaphragm FET condenser microphones, supplied with a complete set of interchangeable cardioid, omnidirectional, and hypercardioid capsules.

The 013 series combines the precision of classic small-diaphragm microphones with a warm, natural sonic signature. These microphones deliver excellent transient response, smooth and detailed high frequencies, and great precision in the mid-range.

Each microphone features a gold-sputtered 25mm diaphragm. Thanks to their fast, accurate response, the 013 FET models are particularly well-suited for transient-rich instruments and recordings requiring high definition.

The matched pair is ideal for stereo recording applications, including drum overheads, acoustic guitars, pianos, vocal ensembles, strings, and orchestras.

The FET version differs from the 013 TUBE model by offering a slightly faster transient response, whereas the tube version provides a smoother high-end. Nevertheless, both models retain a natural, warm sound.

The key advantage of the MAC version lies in its interchangeable capsules. The kit includes two cardioid, two omnidirectional, and two hypercardioid capsules, allowing the microphone's polar pattern to be easily adapted to the source, room acoustics, and recording technique.

With a maximum SPL of 143 dB, these microphones can also handle high-volume sources. Two -10 dB in-line pads are included to further enhance their versatility.

This version features a white finish and comes with two microphone clips, two -10 dB pads, all six capsules, and a wooden storage case. Key Features
