In addition to the award-winning sound of the original AT2020, the AT2020USB-XP features studio-quality features and built-in digital processing.

When it comes to creating engaging content, having high-quality audio is essential. The AT2020USB-XP ensures that the focus is on the chosen sound source with its cardioid polar pattern and integrated noise reduction. You can choose from three levels of noise reduction or disable it completely, depending on the recording environment.

The AT2020USB-XP microphone also offers additional digital features with integrated automatic gain control. This function allows users to achieve a consistent output level whether speaking or singing loudly or softly. The LED on the microphone body conveniently indicates the current noise reduction settings and whether the automatic gain control is activated, for simplified usage.

The microphone is equipped with a high-resolution A/D converter that offers different sampling rates up to 24-bit/192 kHz, delivering transparent and natural sound reproduction for captivating audio. The built-in headphone jack and volume control allow for direct monitoring of the microphone signal without latency. The Mix control enables easy blending of the microphone audio with the computer's audio. The AT2020USB-XP also features a convenient touch Mute button on the microphone body, making it simple to manage pauses or unwanted interruptions. The LED light indicates the audio status, transitioning from blue to red when muted.

The microphone provides a USB-C output and comes with a USB-C to USB-A cable and a USB-A to USB-C adapter for maximum compatibility. The AT2020USB-XP also includes a set of accessories, including a proprietary pop filter, a 3/8"-16 to 5/8"-27 threaded adapter, and a specific desktop stand that offers a stable and secure base. It is compatible with the AT8455 suspension mount (sold separately) for effective vibration noise isolation.
