Asheville music tools AFG-1 Analog Flanger
The ACV-1 Analog Flanger is a pedal offered by the Asheville Music Tools brand.
The Analoger™ Series ACV-1 Chorus/Vibrato/Slapback is the latest creation in their 100% analog effects series. The ACV-1 consists of a modulated BBD delay line with a flexible set of synthesizer-inspired controls. On the surface, the ACV-1 is simply a classic, highly editable chorus. In reality, it's a veritable powerhouse of time warp modulation effects: swirls of shimmering comb filters, real luscious vibrato, glitchy textures, metal pipe sounds, and even fake reverb.
Footswitch Bypass: user selectable on/off effect True Bypass or JFET Buffered (accessible by removing the ACV-1 cover)
Power supply: 9 V DC @ <150 mA. 70-90 mA typical. Up to 250 mA at start-up. Standard negative pedal center, 2.1mm x 5.5mm barrel.
Delay time: 3.1ms - 59ms. 1.9 ms - 95 ms with LFO and up to 155 ms with external CV
Feedback: 0 to almost infinity. Capable of self-oscillation using tone or EXP/CV input coupled to knob position.
Frequency: LFO RATE, 0.1 Hz to 14 Hz (28 Hz with CV control)
Amount: LFO depth control from OFF to 60% of TIME sweep
Mixture: Center 50%. Adjust from completely damp to completely dry
Tone: Center tilt filter ~740 Hz. Center = Flat at 0.3 dB, High +5 dB to -10 dB, Low +4 dB to -7 dB.
Phase switch: 180° phase shift of wet signal and return signal.
LFO: selectable triangle, sine or square wave
Expression Switch: 4-position rotary selects external control of time, feedback, rate or quantity. All controls add to the front panel button, adding extended reach. TRS jack usable with a CV or Expression pedal (CV range is 0 to 5 V). 5 V output limited to current supplied by the ring. Control input on tip.
