Suzuki Omnichord OM-108 Red

The Suzuki Omnichord OM-108 Red is presented here in a limited red edition, introduced with the 2024 reissue. This finish is directly inspired by the iconic red of the original Omnichord launched in 1981, a color that has become a cult favorite among musicians and collectors.

The Omnichord is an electronic instrument with automatic accompaniment (Auto Bass Chord), equipped with the renowned harp sensor (strumplate). Its principle is deceptively simple: just press a chord button, then slide your finger across the strumplate to instantly generate arpeggios or notes corresponding to the selected chord. With very little practice, it becomes possible to accompany a song almost immediately.

Featuring built-in speakers, the Omnichord remains compact, lightweight, and battery-powered, making it easy to transport and use anywhere. Connected to an external amplifier or headphones, it adapts to any situation: studio work, live performance, or simply playing at home.

Unlike many modern electronic instruments, the OM-108 has no screen: adjustments made via the buttons and knobs are directly audible.
