Unlike the vast majority of other semi-hollow-body electric guitars (which feature a central block to reduce feedback), the Starcaster has a bolt-on neck.
This feature, combined with its maple construction (body, neck, fingerboard) and its pair of humbucking pickups with ceramic magnets, gives it a rather unique character.
