The Soyuz 023 MALFA Capsule is a large-diaphragm condenser capsule designed to bring a more modern sonic signature to compatible Soyuz microphones in the 023 and 017 series.

Developed from the 023 Bomblet capsule in collaboration with producer MALFA, it features specific tuning tailored for modern productions and broadcast-ready mixes.

Its response is characterized by a slight presence boost around 6–7 kHz, airier high-frequency extension, and slightly more controlled low-mids. This combination delivers greater articulation and clarity while retaining the musical, natural character typical of Soyuz microphones.

The 023 MALFA Capsule is particularly well-suited for lead vocals, acoustic guitars, strings, drum overheads, room mics, voice-overs, podcasts, and broadcast applications. It allows sources to cut through dense mixes more effectively without requiring aggressive EQ.

Entirely handmade, it features a 33mm diaphragm and a cardioid polar pattern. Its mounting system allows for quick, tool-free capsule swapping on compatible microphones, enabling you to instantly change the microphone's sonic personality.
