Shure KSM 44 MP
The Shure KSM44MP is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone designed for demanding recording situations in both studios and modern production environments. Its main strength lies in its selectable polar patterns (cardioid, omnidirectional, and bidirectional), allowing you to switch from a very focused vocal to a more open recording, or to stereo and duo setups. Its 1-inch capsule delivers natural clarity with a slight emphasis on the high frequencies: details emerge while remaining fluid, without harshness. This is particularly well-suited to airy vocals, subtle harmonics, and delicate instrumentation.
The dual-diaphragm design improves sensitivity stability and polar pattern consistency, with better off-axis control in the low frequencies.
