Pfx circuits KOMP-B (Bass Compressor)
Designed and manufactured in France, the PFX CIRCUITS KOMP-B Silent Bass Compressor/Limiter pedal is a compressor/limiter optimized for the electric bass that redefines and simplifies the use of compression.
The KOMP-B is built around a sophisticated circuit derived from the PFX KP-3, featuring a dual LM13700 OTA configured in parallel. This design significantly reduces noise, delivering audio performance far superior to many competing compressors.
Quiet and versatile, the KOMP-B’s circuitry allows for
total and effortless control over compression. Using its three intuitive controls, you can precisely adjust the tone:
- Attack to fine-tune transients according to your playing style
- Blend to adjust the level of parallel compression with your
original signal
- Output to control the output volume
A Release function preset to handle most situations is accessible inside the unit. Even the most discerning musicians can adjust it to their liking.
