Over 200 on-board Sweetened Tunings® cover a wide variety of instruments and musical styles, while the highly configurable built-in metronome offers fine-tuning to the nearest 0.1 BPM, an ultra-wide tempo range, advanced subdivisions, accentuation patterns and polyrhythms, and can even import tempo scores.

The StroboPLUS HDC uses Peterson's proprietary strobe tuning technology to tune your instrument with extreme precision. This level of performance has been the industry benchmark for over 70 years, and is now enhanced by a large HD color display. Vivid, user-selectable colors let you customize the display to suit your style, or adapt readability to ambient light conditions. You can even associate each setting with a specific color to reduce menu navigation time and gain confidence when making adjustments on stage.

Real-time tuning response
The StroboPLUS HDC's virtual strobe display is animated directly by the input signal. You see the attack, sustain and decay of the tuned note - in real time. The smooth movement of the strobe bands accurately reflects the deviation from the target note, without the jerkiness typical of needle or LED tuners. You can literally watch the bands stabilize as the note gets in tune!

Versatile metronome included
The StroboPLUS HDC incorporates one of the most innovative and versatile metronomes on the market, with hundreds of combinations of subdivisions, accentuation patterns and polyrhythms, as well as the option of using custom tempo scores, via the built-in speaker or headphone output. For tactile feedback, use the optional Peterson BodyBeat Pulse Solo or BodyBeat Vibe Clip: these devices attach discreetly to transmit tempo by vibration without noise, allowing you to concentrate on the music rather than a mechanical click.

A multitude of Sweetened Tunings and more
Sweetened Tunings offer alternative temperaments for a variety of string and wind instruments. Each preset defines cent offsets from the equal temperament, to optimize tuning according to the instrument's inharmonic characteristics. With over 180 factory Sweetened Tunings covering a wide range of acoustic and electric instruments, the StroboPLUS HDC adapts perfectly to your needs. What's more, guided tunings (drop, alternate, artist-specific, standard number of strings, etc.) are also included.

Peterson Connect compatible
Native compatibility with Peterson Connect (Chrome extension for Windows and macOS) lets you easily configure and update your StroboPLUS HDC. Create your own Sweeteners, manage your choice of presets before a gig, and import tempo scores to work on rhythm-changing songs. Peterson Connect can also be used to update the firmware for future enhancements.

Convenient power supply
No more messy batteries or bulky power cables! The StroboPLUS HDC is powered by a Li?ion battery rechargeable via USB, allowing you to use the built-in microphone or 1/4? jack input without constraint.
