The Palmer ORBIT 11 is a 3-way active coaxial studio monitor designed for mixing, mastering, post-production, sound design, broadcasting, and content creation. Its True Point Source coaxial design combines a 6.5? midrange driver and a 1? tweeter on the same acoustic axis. This provides a consistent 120° × 120° dispersion for stable imaging and reliable balance throughout the listening area.

This controlled and consistent dispersion helps ensure reliable tonal balance, making it ideal for portable mixes, while the cardioid front baffle reduces rearward energy to minimize room interaction.

Low frequencies are handled by two 8? impulse-compensated woofers mounted in a sealed, die-cast aluminum enclosure with walls ranging from 5 to 16 mm thick, designed to resist mechanical stress and minimize cabinet vibration. This results in an impressive bass response extending down to 28 Hz.

The internal processing operates at 96 kHz/24-bit, with FIR filtering ensuring linear phase behavior and therefore impeccable time integration of the speakers.

For quick setup, the top-mounted control panel provides direct access to the input attenuator, 3-band equalizer, Desk and Rear Wall presets, and an 80 Hz high-pass filter. Connectivity includes a balanced XLR line input and an AES3 input via XLR, with an AES3 Thru output for daisy-chaining.

For wall or ceiling mounting, the ORBIT 11 features threaded mounting points and an M8 eyelet anchor point for secure attachment, and it is compatible with the Gravity GSPWMBS20B tilt and swivel bracket.
