The JET GUITARS JS-501 Stygian (6480) is a solid-body electric guitar inspired by a classic American model and offered at an exceptional price/performance ratio. A phrase often overused, but absolutly not in this case. It is remarkably well-designed and crafted, with comfortable playability and impressive sonic performance.
Within the conception of a Gibson©, body and neck are made of Mahogany while the fretboard is made of Rosewood. This trio generates thick, warm and reactive sounds. Contrary to a Gibson© set-neck, it is bolt-on on this Jet Guitars adding slighttly more clarity.
In this configuration with humbucking pickups (hand-wound for a more reactive and organic feel) and fixed bridge, it is perfect for musicians looking for a dynamic and expressive instrument with a tropism for Hard-Rock and Metal genres.
