The IBANEZ Standard AZ24S2 MLB solid body electric guitar carries with it all of the hallmarks of these tried and tested Ibanez qualities : quality tonewoods (Alder body, bolt-on roasted Maple neck, Jatoba fingerboard) and excellent equipment for optimum versatility (24 stainless steel frets, Ibanez Modern humbucking pickups with AlNiCo 5 magnets, Ibanez traditional tremolo and locking Gotoh tuners.
Ibanez Modern Custom pickups feature a dual humbucker configuration with alnico V magnets. They offer powerful tone and a quick response, which pair especially well with overdrive and distortion.
Ibanez Dyna-MIX10 switching system doubles sonic possibilities.
Fingerboard is made of Brazilian Cherry / Jatoba. It is a tonewood very similar to Pau Ferro. Its warm tone is tempered by a snappy attack. In between Rosewood and Maple.
