The all-solid-wood construction combines traditional woods with a Bearclaw spruce top, a mahogany body and neck, and a rosewood fingerboard (20 frets). A classic combination in the best sense of the word, providing an excellent balance between projection, warmth, and clarity, with prominent mids.
Considered one of the finest spruce woods by master luthiers (Hauser, Martin, Santa Cruz), Bearclaw spruce enhances the characteristics of traditional spruce thanks to its superior rigidity (a remarkable balance between deep bass, rich mids, and crystalline highs) and its sumptuous appearance.
