Imagined by former Gibson President Ted McCarty, who later called it his proudest contribution, it has been in continuous production since its debut, with support from countless legendary artists, including B.B. King, Eric Clapton, Larry Carlton, and Warren Haynes.
Gibson Custom Shop is proud to present GIBSON Custom Shop Limited Edition Murphy Lab 1958 ES-335 Reissue (58ES335PSL21800) featuring Murphy Lab Light Aging, a classic Tri-Burst finish, a big ’58 rounded neck profile, and an unbound fingerboard — a feature found only on 1958 ES-335 models.
Limited to 130 instruments for each finish in celebration of Gibson’s 130th Anniversary, these exceptional guitars come complete with a brown and pink Lifton™ five-latch case.
