Monitor Controller, Studio Command Center

The Lieutenant is designed to be the true studio command center. It allows you to select four sources and route them to three destinations, with a volume control with relay attenuator. In addition, the built-in power sequencer can manage the distribution of studio power to three independent zones. It includes a separate cue loop with a headphone output, complete with a talkback system, and a main headphone output.
Of the four input sources, two are balanced stereo analog, one is an SPDIF digital source, and one is Bluetooth.
The three target outputs are balanced stereo analog. Output levels can be adjusted manually or automatically to ensure seamless switching between speaker pairs without volume fluctuations.
A Pad function is available, which reduces the output volume by a preset amount at the touch of a button, and a Mute function is included, which instantly mutes the output. The Focus function allows you to isolate and control specific frequency ranges—low, mid, or high—for detailed analysis.

The power sequencer can manage the studio's power supply in three segments. These segments can be activated and deactivated manually or automatically. A typical configuration might include the first segment for the computer and audio interface, the second segment for the side rack with external equipment, and the third segment for the studio monitor system.
In this configuration, the first segment (computer and audio interface) is automatically turned on, followed a few seconds later by the monitor system. The external equipment segment is manually controlled by the lieutenant's interface and only turns on when needed.
The power-off is automated: the studio monitors are turned off first, then the computer and audio interface, and finally the external rack. Of course, all of this is fully configurable.
