Furch Yellow SR a Gc (LRB1) - full-pore high-gloss natural
The FURCH Yellow SR a GC (LRB1) is a Grand Auditorium-style electro-acoustic steel-string acoustic guitar with a cutaway. It features a solid AAA-grade Sitka spruce top, a solid AA-grade Indian rosewood back and sides, a solid African mahogany neck, an ebony fingerboard, and an LR Baggs EAS-VTC preamp.
Delivering excellent performance whether played purely acoustically or amplified, the Yellow SR is a versatile, functional, and superbly crafted instrument that stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the American classics of its kind.
The LR Baggs EAS-VTC active system allows for easy and effective amplification of the instrument. Control knobs for volume and tone are discreetly positioned on the inner rim of the soundhole. The sound is dynamic, open, and faithful to the guitar’s true character.
Furch guitars are extremely well-positioned and are on par with equivalent models offered by leading American brands.
At Furch, it all begins with an uncompromising selection of wood species, during which environmental considerations are taken very seriously.
Next comes the drying process, which the company spent many years perfecting before achieving optimal results.
The classification of woods according to various criteria (color, grain, consistency, stiffness, etc.) leaves nothing to chance either.
As we know, the soundboard and its braces play a fundamental role in the instrument’s sound and longevity. Here again, Furch draws on its three decades of expertise, which has enabled it to find the optimal balance between stiffness, volume, sustain, and dynamics.
The finish is by no means the least important factor in the equation that defines great acoustic guitars. Furch has gone the extra mile to develop an effective protective finish that fully preserves the sonic integrity of its guitars. Its finishes are stunning, but above all, they are extremely uniform and consistent in thickness.
Housed in a carbon sleeve, the Furch CNR bidirectional truss rod allows for precise adjustment of the neck’s curvature while stabilizing it.
