Made in Mexico, the FENDER Limited Edition Player Fusion Jaguar Baritone, Ebony Fingerboard, Black (0142831306) is a solid body electric guitar with a baritone scale (27") that combines traditional elements with modern features. It features the fundamental design of the model, with an Alder body and a bolt-on neck in Maple. The lutherie, traditional in the best sense of the word, combines an Alder body, a bolt-on neck in Maple and an Ebony fingerboard (set with 22 jumbo frets). A platform that generates a clear, dynamic acoustic base, dense and responsive, with precise, punchy bass, balanced midrange and crystal-clear treble.
The Ebony fingerboard noticeably and musically compresses the sound, a parameter that may prove interesting in certain musical contexts.

Updated with a baritone scale, Ebony fingerboard, "Thin C" neck profile, modern 12" radius, a duo of powerful, raging Fender Player II Modified Humbucker double-coil pickups (switchable to single-coil), it demonstrates obvious aptitude for the Metal register and alternative bass tunings. The baritone characteristic allows the use of strong string gauges and alternative low tunings (e.g. Drop A or Drop B) while maintaining optimum string tension, playing comfort and avoiding intonation and tuning problems.
