The FENDER Limited Edition American Ultra II Jazz Bass V (0199122771) five-string solid-body electric bass is the ultimate in Fender models outside of the Custom Shop lineup.
It is a vintage/modern instrument that stays true to Fender tradition while also meeting the demands of professional musicians.

Its body is made of premium-grade alder, and its neck and fingerboard are crafted from roasted AAA flamed maple (set with 21 medium-jumbo frets).
The neck is exceptionally comfortable, featuring a hybrid Modern D profile, beveled fret edges, a 10/14" compound radius, and a sculpted neck heel for easy access to the high notes.
It features Luminlay fluorescent inlays along the edge of the fingerboard, allowing you to find your way on stage under any lighting conditions.

In addition to giving the wood an elegant patina, the torrefaction process improves the instrument’s stability, sustain, clarity, and resonance, while protecting it from temperature fluctuations, humidity, and mold.

The Fender Ultra II Noiseless Vintage pickups, combined with a choice of active or passive circuitry (via the S-1 switch), offer a wide range of classic Fender tones as well as more contemporary sounds—all without background noise.
