EVANS Snare Side 500 clear snare drum heads are made from a single 5 mil film thickness to produce dark, throaty tones ideal for deep drums or heavy rock.
EVANS Level 360 technology has been incorporated to extend the contact surface 360 degrees around the entire circumference of the barrel. The improved neck design ensures uniform contact with the barrel's bevel for easy set-up, extended tonal range and optimum sound quality.
EVANS Level 360 technology solves the classic problem of traditional synthetic skins being systematically difficult to mount on barrels without considerable force.
