Epiphone Original Casino - natural
Introduced in 1961, it seems clear that the Epiphone Casino is a variation on the 1959 Gibson ES-330.
Modelled after the ES-335 but without its characteristic center block, the Casino possesses a natural acoustic quality that has captivated such prestigious artists as Howlin’ Wolf, George Harrison, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Noel Gallagher, Glenn Frey, Johnny Marr, Keith Richards, Dave Davies, Brad Whitford, Shirley Manson, Paul Weller, The Edge, Josh Homme, and Gary Clark, Jr.
The Epiphone Original Archtops Collection Casino (EOCANANHR) is a superbly crafted instrument that makes these inspiring sounds accessible to a wider audience.
Thanks to its design—which combines a maple and poplar body, a set mahogany neck, and a rosewood fretboard (24.75" scale, 22 frets), this semi-hollow-body electric guitar excels in a wide range of musical genres, including blues, pop, jazz, and classic rock.
The pickups are Epiphone Dogear P-90 PROs, inspired by the eponymous Gibson models considered a timeless benchmark in single-coil pickups.
They deliver incredibly warm and expressive tones, and you can fine-tune their character using the volume and tone controls (separate for each pickup).
