Epiphone Marcus King El Dorado - antique natural
Limited-edition model.
The EPIPHONE Marcus King El Dorado (EMEDMKANNH1) electro-acoustic steel-string acoustic guitar is the signature model of the singer, guitarist, and songwriter, whose album “El Dorado” earned him a nomination in the Americana Music category at the 63rd Grammy Awards.
An updated version of the artist’s personal vintage model (the original Epiphone FT-90 El Dorado—inspired by the Gibson Hummingbird—was produced between 1963 and 1970), the Marcus King is crafted from solid woods in a tried-and-true traditional configuration: Sitka spruce top, rosewood back and sides, solid African mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard.
This combination produces a sound that is full, warm, and responsive, with rich, well-defined bass, balanced mids, and crisp highs.
The L.R. Baggs Element Bronze VTC active pickup system allows for easy and effective amplification of the instrument. Volume and tone control knobs are discreetly positioned on the inner rim of the soundhole. The sound is dynamic, open, and true to the guitar’s core character.
The EPIPHONE Marcus King El Dorado is ideal for musicians seeking a vintage-inspired, stylish, and versatile instrument. It delivers powerful, balanced, and responsive tones.
