It's a well-made, traditionally crafted instrument with mahogany body and AAA flamed maple top, set neck tenon (more stability and better sustain) in mahogany (profile '59 Rounded Medium C), rosewood fingerboard, Gibson USA Custombucker AlNiCo 3 vintage-style wired pickups with Bumble Bee capabilities, CTS selector switch potentiometers and Switchcraft jack plug.
If you don't have the budget for an authentic Gibson, the 1959 Epiphone Les Paul Standard Reissue is an excellent bargain.
