Electro harmonix Deluxe Bass Big Muff Pi 2 (Fuzz)

Enhanced with new controls, the EHX Deluxe Bass Big Muff Pi 2 Dual Op-Amp Fuzz pedal combines the characteristics of the original Big Muff with the capabilities of a late-1970s Dual Op-Amp circuit, updated in collaboration with Josh Scott of JHS Pedals.

This design gives the Big Muff Pi 2 a more dynamic and cutting sound. With the Blend control, you can mix the dry and distorted signals to find the ideal balance without losing clarity or dynamics in the low frequencies.
This “Deluxe” version offers even greater control and shaping of the low end. With the Blend, Gate, and Crossover controls, plus an input attenuator, you can maintain maximum distortion headroom without sacrificing the original signal or clarity.
The switchable “Crossover” feature (dedicated switch) splits the signal in two. A high-pass filter is applied to the portion of the signal routed to the fuzz circuit, while a low-pass filter acts solely on the clean signal. The HPF and LPF knobs allow you to adjust the cutoff frequencies of these two filters.

The Bass Big Muff Pi 2 is equipped with a relay-based Buffered Bypass switch featuring a Latching/Momentary function that allows you to engage the effect discreetly.
A -10 dB Input Pad selector allows the circuit to adapt to high-level basses equipped with active pickups and preamps.
