The ST550R combines traditional and modern features.
Its construction features a basswood body, a bolt-on roasted maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets. This design produces a rich and dynamic acoustic foundation, with thick, punchy bass, generous mids, and clear highs.
In addition to giving the wood an elegant patina, the roasting process improves the instrument’s stability, sustain, clarity, and resonance, while protecting it from temperature fluctuations, humidity, and mold.

The Eastone ST550R features a versatile HSS pickup configuration with AlNiCo 5 magnets, delivering a warm, punchy tone without sacrificing clarity. The double-coil pickup in the bridge position delivers crisp distortion that will appeal to fans of hard rock and metal.
