Casio CT-X5000

The Casio CT-X5000 is a high-end 61-key arranger keyboard from the CT-X series, designed for live performances, composition, arrangement, and performance. It combines the AiX sound engine, an extensive library of sounds and rhythms, advanced editing functions, and a powerful 15 W + 15 W amplifier with a Bass Reflex system.

Its 61-key velocity-sensitive keyboard offers three sensitivity levels, while its maximum polyphony of 64 notes allows for rich arrangements and complex layering. The CT-X5000 features 800 sounds and 235 rhythms, covering a wide variety of styles and instruments.

The AiX sound engine accurately reproduces the characteristics of acoustic and electronic instruments, with natural tonal variations and a wide dynamic range. To further enrich the sound, the keyboard offers 100 DSP effects, 32 reverbs, 12 choruses, 20 delays, and a master EQ with 10 presets plus one user setting.

The CT-X5000 also features a comprehensive auto-accompaniment system, 310 Music Presets, an arpeggiator with 150 types, 12 types of automatic harmonization, and 128 registrations. These memory slots allow you to save complete setups—including sounds, rhythms, tempo, and various playing parameters—and then recall them instantly during a performance.

For music creation, the CT-X5000 features a 17-track MIDI recorder, consisting of one system track and 16 multitrack tracks. It can record up to 10 songs of approximately 40,000 notes each, with track editing, event editing, and Punch In/Out functions.

A 42-channel mixer allows you to precisely adjust the volume, sounds, and effects of each part. The keyboard also offers 4 Phrase Pads and up to 100 user phrases, as well as a rhythm creation tool for designing custom accompaniments with up to 8 parts.

The CT-X5000 can play and record WAV audio files on a USB flash drive. It also features a comprehensive set of connections, including dedicated stereo line outputs, an audio input, a microphone input, a headphone output, two pedal inputs (one of which is compatible with an expression pedal), and USB Type A and Type B ports.

Compared to the CT-X3000, the CT-X5000 stands out in particular for its much more powerful 15 W + 15 W amplification, its dedicated line outputs, its microphone input, and the inclusion of a modulation control. It is therefore particularly well-suited for musicians looking for a standalone, powerful, and stage-ready arranger keyboard.
