Akai MPC One G2
The next generation of the renowned MPC One, the MPC One G2, marks a major evolution of Akai Professional's compact, standalone production workstation. Equipped with a new eight-core G2 processor offering up to four times the power of the first-generation MPC One, it fully benefits from the advancements of MPC 3 OS while maintaining the compact form factor that made it so successful.
With 64 GB of internal storage, new processing capabilities, and an elegant deep blue color inspired by the legendary MPC1000 and MPC4000, the MPC One G2 combines the brand's iconic heritage with the demands of modern music production.
Unprecedented power in a compact form factor
Following on from the MPC One and MPC One+, the MPC One G2 is based on a completely redesigned hardware architecture to fully exploit the potential of MPC 3 OS. Its eight-core G2 processor, up to four times more powerful than the previous generation, ensures smooth navigation and fast loading, even on the most ambitious projects.
Thanks to its 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, the MPC One G2 can simultaneously handle up to 32 plugin instances and 16 stereo audio tracks. Large libraries, complex virtual instruments, or track-rich arrangements: everything is designed to maintain a fluid workflow and unleash your creativity.
The complete MPC experience, without compromise
Optimized to get the most out of MPC 3 OS, the MPC One G2 offers an even more intuitive and efficient production environment. The new individual track system assigns each project element its own dedicated workspace, making organization, editing, and mixing easier.
The linear arranger lets you build your tracks naturally, from intro to outro, while also offering the ability to name and color-code different sections to improve the clarity of your projects.
At the heart of the MPC experience, the 16 velocity- and pressure-sensitive RGB pads remain the preferred tool for finger drumming, sampling, and real-time performance. The Disk Streaming function allows you to work on significantly larger projects without filling up the machine's memory.
Connectivity tailored for modern studios
The new USB-C connection greatly simplifies the integration of the MPC One G2 into today's production environments. It allows the simultaneous transfer of up to 24 audio channels and 32 MIDI channels between the MPC and your DAW, while also facilitating direct sampling from a compatible smartphone, tablet, or computer.
Compatible with USB Class Compliant devices, the MPC One G2 can also accommodate external audio interfaces and numerous controllers without the need for additional driver installation.
Ableton Live users will benefit from Ableton Control mode as well as native project import and export, ensuring seamless integration between the software and the machine.
Professional-Grade Production Tools
Right out of the box, the MPC One G2 provides access to a vast library of sounds, kits, virtual instruments, and ready-to-use projects. It also includes new plugins from the partnership between Akai Professional and Native Instruments, specifically optimized for the MPC environment.
For even greater creative freedom, Pro Stems allows you to isolate drums, bass, vocals, or melodic elements from a recording for individual editing (license required, sold separately). The optional Pro Pack adds real-time clip launching and advanced Super Timestretch and Re-Pitch processing.
The most powerful standalone MPC in its class
With the MPC One G2, Akai Professional redefines the standards of compact standalone production by combining the power of a full-fledged production studio, the flexibility of a computer-free workflow, and the legendary efficiency of the MPC ecosystem in a format that fits on any desktop.
