The new desktop version of the OB-X8 has everything the keyboard version has, except for the 61-note Fatar keyboard and pitch and modulation levers, but that won't stop you from experiencing the full sonic power of the Oberheim OB-X, OB-Xa and OB-8 in a package that's compact enough for any size studio and convenient enough to take on the road!

The OB-X8 module features the same sound engine as the keyboard version, with a fully analog signal path, VCOs, VCAs and discrete filters. With its one-button-one-function ergonomics, you have immediate access to virtually all of the synth's parameters, allowing you to create your own sounds with ease and precision.

The OB-X8's audio signal path is entirely analog, full of warmth and power. It's the same distinctive Oberheim sound that made iconic tracks like Prince's 1999, Van Halen's Jump, and Rush's Tom Sawyer unforgettable. And now it's yours to enhance your own music.
