Sadowsky MetroExpress 21-Fret Vintage J/J Bass V2 4-String (PF) - sage green metallic

Model manufactured in China under Warwick's supervision. Includes a Sadowsky gig bag.
Lightweight, comfortable, and resonant, the SADOWSKY MetroExpress 21-Fret Vintage J/J Bass, Roasted Maple Fingerboard, 4-String (SMX21VJ4 J4R OKU FR) is a remarkable reinterpretation of a classic American solid-body electric bass.
Built with high-quality components and crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the MetroExpress 21-Fret Vintage J/J Bass produces sounds to match, worthy of much more expensive models.

The Sadowski SMX21VJ features an Okoume body, a bolt-on roasted maple neck (C-profile), and a Morado fingerboard (21 fretboard markers, 34" scale length, 12" radius). This combination produces a rich tone with clarity, bite, and dynamic range. The lows are warm, the mids are full-bodied, and the highs are bright.
In addition to giving the wood an elegant patina, the roasting process improves the instrument’s stability, sustain, clarity, and resonance, while protecting it from temperature fluctuations, humidity, and mold.

Used for decades in the maritime and aerospace industries, okoume (native to West Africa) is a wood of choice for electric guitars (John Suhr has used it for many years).
This lightweight, low-density wood can be considered a high-quality mahogany with more pronounced high frequencies and an extended dynamic range, enhancing the instrument’s clarity.

Morado (Pau Ferro), which makes up the fingerboard, is a wood sourced from the forests of Brazil and Bolivia. Its high density produces a tone that is a hybrid between rosewood and maple. Its very pleasant feel is undeniably reminiscent of ebony.
