Palmer RIVER spree
The Palmer RIVER Spree is an active stereo direct box designed to easily connect a USB-C equipped computer, smartphone, or tablet to a mixing console, stage box, or professional sound system.
It converts the digital USB-C audio signal into two balanced analog XLR outputs, featuring high-resolution conversion up to 32-bit / 192 kHz. Its XLR outputs feature galvanic isolation to effectively minimize hum and other noise caused by ground loops.
A selector switch allows the output level to be set to either Mic or Line, while a Ground Lift function provides an additional solution for dealing with unwanted noise. A 6.3 mm TRS headphone output allows for direct signal monitoring or provides an additional audio output.
The RIVER Spree can be powered directly via USB-C or through the included power adapter. When using external power, its USB-C Power Pass-Through function allows the connected device to be powered or charged simultaneously—a particularly convenient feature for smartphones and tablets.
With its rugged aluminum and steel housing, the Palmer RIVER Spree is perfectly suited for the demands of stage, studio, and touring environments.
