The LX2 features a solid spruce top, an HPL (High Pressure Laminate) back and sides, and a Richlite fingerboard. It produces sounds of surprising quality, with beautiful tonal balance, dynamics, and remarkable projection.
. HPL is a combination of resin and paper that is pressed and heated to very high temperatures, resulting in truly remarkable sound quality. It is covered with a film that perfectly mimics the appearance of Brazilian rosewood.
. The fingerboard and bridge are made of Richlite, a composite material itself made from recycled paper and resin heated to very high temperatures, whose acoustic performance is similar to that of ebony.
