The HK AUDIO POLAR 15 MK2 is a high-performance active column sound system, specially designed for DJs, musicians, bands, and event professionals seeking powerful sound projection, precise sound reproduction, and deep bass. As the largest model in the POLAR MK2 series, it combines a 15-inch subwoofer, a high-definition acoustic column, and 2,000 W peak amplification to achieve a maximum sound pressure level of 130 dB SPL.

Its acoustic design is based on a multiplex plywood subwoofer enclosure, whose generous volume and rigid structure enable it to produce powerful, precise, and controlled bass, even during prolonged use at high volumes. This design is particularly well-suited for DJ sets, concerts, and events requiring a strong low-frequency presence.

The column features six 3-inch midrange drivers with neodymium magnets, paired with a 1-inch precision tweeter and a constant-directivity horn. This configuration ensures clear and natural reproduction of vocals and instruments, with a 120° horizontal dispersion that effectively covers a wide listening area. Its low-resonance aluminum structure helps minimize vibrations and distortion, even at high volume levels.

The POLAR 15 MK2 features a built-in 4-channel mixer, allowing you to directly connect microphones, instruments, keyboards, DJ equipment, and external audio sources. Its two mic/line inputs feature switchable phantom power for use with condenser microphones. A high-impedance instrument input and a stereo auxiliary input round out the connectivity options, while a USB-C port allows you to charge a smartphone, tablet, or compatible wireless microphone receiver.

Thanks to Bluetooth 5.0, the system supports wireless audio streaming from a compatible device. The True Wireless Stereo (TWS) feature also allows two POLAR MK2 systems to be paired to stream a Bluetooth signal in true stereo, without a wired audio connection between the two speakers.

The built-in digital processing offers numerous options for sound optimization. Three preset modes—Music, Voice, and DJ—allow you to quickly tailor the sound to your intended use. A 3-band equalizer with semi-parametric midrange controls, a system delay adjustment, and five user presets let you fine-tune settings based on the environment and easily recall your favorite configurations. All parameters are accessible via the LCD screen and the Push-to-Edit control.

The POLAR 15 MK2 also stands out for its M20 FlexMount system, a threaded mount integrated into the cabinet that allows for the direct installation of compatible mounting bars for lighting or other performance accessories. This solution simplifies the setup of professional installations by reducing the need for additional stands.

Designed for mobile performances, the system features ergonomic MultiGrip handles, reinforced connectors that ensure a stable assembly of the various components, and a modular design that facilitates setup and takedown. A padded cover for the subwoofer and a carrying bag for the column components are included. A transport tray with wheels is also available as an option.
