All Hybrid Exotic snare drums are equipped with the all-new Spin-Tight tension rods, exclusive to Pearl. Supplied with a special key, the Spin-Tight tension rods lock securely into the shell channels, eliminating the slightest loss of tension in the head. Even after hours of rim-shotting, your head remains perfectly in tune.

In the 1970s, Pearl was the first to develop hybrid snare drums made of wood and fiberglass. 40 years later, the Japanese brand reintroduces this atypical range of snare drums. By blending kapur, a wood used for its rich low frequencies, with a fiberglass inner layer, Pearl has created a powerful snare drum with warm, low tones and sharp highs. These little wonders feature a stunning black lacquer finish with pearloid inlay.
