Fender 75th Anniversary American Vintage II 1951 Precision Bass (USA, MN) - butterscotch blonde
To celebrate the milestone anniversaries of the Fender Telecaster and Precision Bass, Fender is releasing a special collection of limited edition version of each model in 2026.
The Telecaster is one of the most revered and influential instruments of all time. It literally changed the course of modern music and set the standard for how an electric guitar should look, feel and sound.
The Precision Bass, the world’s first electric bass, represents one of the most important developments in music history. For the first time, bass players had access to a portable, precisely intonated, amplified instrument. As stated by the legendary Quincy Jones, the Fender bass was “...the one technological breakthrough that changed music forever.”
Although it initially shared many design cues with the Telecaster®, such as an oversized Tele® headstock, slab body and chrome control plate, by 1951, the P-Bass® had been updated with the same sweeping curves and contoured edges of the newly launched Stratocaster®.
The FENDER 75th Anniversary American Vintage II 1951 Precision Bass (0177042850) reproduces the quintessential tone and feel of the original.
