Gibson introduced the first ES-335 in 1958 with the aim of offering an ideal mid-range model between its Hollow Body and Archtop guitars and its Les Paul Solid Body guitars. Just like the SG Standard or the Les Paul Custom, the ES-335 has become one of Gibson’s timeless classics.
The Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Original Collection ES-335 (EIES335CHNHR) is a superbly crafted version designed for the general public. It is built to similar specifications and shares the ES-335’s fundamental tonal character and versatility.

Thanks to its design—which combines a maple and poplar body, a set mahogany neck, and a rosewood fingerboard (24.75" scale, 22 frets), this semi-hollow-body electric guitar with a central block excels in a wide range of musical genres, including blues, pop, jazz, classic rock, and hard rock.
The maple center block enhances sustain and minimizes the feedback issues inherent in hollow-body guitars. This feature allows the ES-335 to handle high levels of distortion.

The pickups are Epiphone Classic Alnico PROs , inspired by the legendary Gibson P.A.F.s. They deliver warm, dynamic tones that you can shape using the volume and tone knobs (independent for each pickup).
