This pedal is a simple, modern tool, designed to give you all the organic character and dynamic response of a tube amp in a compact, practical format. No complicated menus. No IR loading. No firmware updates. No 0, 1 or other digital parameter between you and your sound. The ZEQD-Pre is the analog solution to your digital worries.
The ZEQD-Pre uses an EF86 pentode, the same tube that gives many Dr. Z amps their pristine hi-fi sound and makes them particularly pedal-responsive platforms, with dynamic, nuanced touch sensitivity, full-spectrum hi-fi clarity and EQ that's both predictable and extremely responsive.
