Duesenberg Custom Shop Starplayer TV #261290 - hanover gold
A limited edition featuring a special, intentionally reactive finish that subtly changes the instrument’s patina over years of use. Each guitar will thus have its own distinct visual identity.
With a unique personality reminiscent of Gibson©, Gretsch©, or James Trussart©, and impeccable craftsmanship, this DUESENBERG Custom Shop Starplayer TV Hanover Gold #261290 electric guitar (semi-hollow body with internal sustain block) is on par with the finest American and Japanese models.
The construction remains faithful to the original Starplayer TV, combining a semi-hollow body with a spruce top, a maple back and sides, a solid maple set neck (medium D profile), and an Indian rosewood fingerboard (25.5" Fender©-style scale, 22 jumbo frets, 12" radius). The assembly and fretwork are absolutely remarkable.
The electronics are top-notch, featuring a P-90-style single-coil pickup in the neck position that delivers just the right amount of depth and character, without the muddy sound that a humbucker might have. In the bridge position, the Grand Vintage Humbucker lives up to its name, evoking the Gibson Classic 57.
To round out its vintage identity, the Starplayer TV features a hybrid Fender Strat/Bigsby vibrato.
This Custom Shop Starplayer TV is therefore a prestigious “old-school” instrument designed for professional musicians or discerning amateurs who really want to treat themselves!
Resonant and dynamic, it will appeal to fans of tones that bridge the gap between a Gibson® ES-335® and a Gretsch® Professional Nashville®.
