Audio technica AT 5045
The At 5045 is a large capsule microphone from Audio-technica.
Available alone or in stereo pairs, the AT5045 is a high-end condenser microphone that delivers the performance of a large diaphragm side-capture microphone, condensed into a compact microphone. Indeed, despite the limitations imposed by its shape, the AT5045 has the advantage of having the largest diaphragm of any Audio-Technica microphone. To achieve this result, the microphone's printed circuit board has been reduced to the essentials, allowing the AT5045 to offer an exceptionally wide dynamic range.
Large capsule with lateral capture
Larger capsule surface area than most wide-diaphragm condenser microphones on the market
Stick format for fast and accurate microphone placement, as close as possible to the source
High purity and fidelity sound, ideal for overheads, piano, and acoustic instruments in general
Carefully selected components for optimal capsule performance
Exceptionally low noise with high SPL capacity
100% manual production and quality control
Elegant and robust housing made of aluminium and brass
"fast and accurate positioning"
The tubular shape of the AT5045 allows to optimize the investment options, as close as possible to the instruments. Its large rectangular capsule simultaneously combines the advantages of a small and large diaphragm. Very fast response to transients, with all the softness and naturalness of a large membrane.
"The widest Audio-Technica capsule"
Audio-Technica has designed its largest capsule for the AT5045, which has a larger surface area than most of the large diaphragm microphones on the market, to provide pure and natural sound, ideal for the majority of acoustic instruments.
"optimized performance"
The microphone circuitry has been optimized and reduced to the essentials, allowing the AT5045 to achieve an unprecedented dynamic range, among the widest available on the market.
