SOBRE EL PRODUCTO

The Alesis Kitstream is an all-in-one solution designed to record, stream, and enhance the sound of an acoustic drum kit without complex setup. Mounted directly onto the bass drum, this compact system combines a stereo microphone, a built-in trigger, a USB-C audio/MIDI interface, and a sound module to meet the needs of drummers—whether in a home studio, at rehearsals, on stage, or while streaming.

Thanks to its intuitive design, the Kitstream captures the entire drum kit without the clutter of multiple microphones, stands, and cables. It also offers extensive possibilities for sound customization, recording, and hybrid playing.

Quick setup for comprehensive capture

The Kitstream attaches directly to the bass drum hoop using the included clamp, which also houses a trigger. Its stereo microphone captures the whole kit, while the trigger detects bass drum hits and converts them into MIDI data.

This technology allows you to reinforce, replace, or complement the acoustic bass drum sound using the module's built-in sounds or external software, all while maintaining the instrument's natural playing feel.

To simplify setup, an automatic calibration assistant adjusts the microphone and trigger settings to the drummer's playing style. Four front-panel knobs with LED indicators provide direct control over microphone and trigger levels, reverb, and effects, eliminating the need for an external mixing console.

Easily record and stream your performances

With its USB-C audio and MIDI connection, the Kitstream connects directly to a computer or compatible device. This makes it easy to record performances, produce tracks, or stream sessions live without needing an additional audio interface. The system also features an internal recorder offering up to 50 hours of recording time, split into segments of up to 60 minutes each. This allows drummers to capture sessions without a computer, listen back to them, and use the audio later in their production software.

A headphone output enables quiet practice, while the auxiliary input and Bluetooth connectivity make it easy to play along with songs, backing tracks, or practice exercises.

A microphone input for expanded possibilities

In addition to the built-in stereo microphone, the Kitstream features a 6.35mm (1/4") jack input for a dynamic microphone.

This connection allows you to add a kick drum mic, a snare mic, or an overhead mic to reinforce specific drum kit elements. It can also accommodate a vocal microphone—handy for singing while playing, narrating a live stream, or communicating during a drum lesson.

The signal from the additional microphone is integrated directly into the overall mix.

A sound module for creating a hybrid drum kit

Beyond recording, the Kitstream allows you to transform an acoustic drum kit into a hybrid setup thanks to its built-in sound engine.

It includes 500 drum and percussion sounds organized into 50 preset kits, along with 100 slots for creating custom kits. Drummers can blend acoustic tones with electronic sounds, enhance their kick drum, or switch soundscapes to suit different songs.

The module also offers 13 reverb types, 26 effects, a compressor, and an equalizer to customize the sound directly.

For even greater versatility, you can import up to 99 custom WAV samples. Three dedicated external trigger inputs allow for the connection of up to six additional pads, expanding your playing and creative possibilities. A versatile solution for all drummers

The Kitstream adapts to a wide range of scenarios, whether you are creating social media content, performing covers, live-streaming a set, or recording demos.

It is also a practical tool for learning and skill development. Drummers can record themselves, review their performances, and play along to their favorite tracks via Bluetooth connectivity. An additional microphone input also facilitates communication during lessons, whether in-person or remote.

Whether in the rehearsal room or on stage, its quick setup, accessible controls, and headphone output provide personal monitoring and a mix tailored to your preferences.

Finally, the Alesis Kitstream comes with Ableton Live Lite and a 90-day Drumeo subscription, allowing you to start recording, producing, and honing your technique right from the start.
